This might be a dumb question, but what are the requirements to go to Hoenn? In the Hoenn topic Red created he states that you can start your Hoenn adventure on route 48.

 

So, I have to beat the johto league to go to Hoenn, or I could just go there directly without beating it?

You need to finish johto & kanto before u can go to Hoenn
