Spiderphoenix Posted June 30, 2016 Share Posted June 30, 2016 I got my Rattata from 50 to 80 in less than an hour.. not sure how long the other cave method takes. I taught him Thunderbolt and went to the Pokecenter right outside of Mt. Silver. Against Doduo or Dodrio, I would use Thunderbolt. Against anything else that I faught, I'd use Hyper Fang and then Double Edge.. most things were dead by then. Run back into the Pokecenter pretty often, but it's right there. At about level 60 I could kill everything except Ursarings and the occasional Donphan in 1 Double Edge. Around 65, move into the cave and fight Golbats. Thunderbolt-> Double Edge.
