On which server issue happened: RED

 

What have you done before the problem was there?

Check for fossil guy at route 111 and check my bag for the fossil i chosen which was root fossil. I did not receive it.

I beat the fossil giver guy in route 111 desert and chose the root fossil. 40s later game had a rollback. I log back on to check if the fossil got rolled back as well. Fossil was not there so I check the fossil guy. He was not there either.

Unfortunately, nothing can be done in your case. It's recommended to log off in order to save your progress whenever you accomplish anything of significance (catching rare Pokemon, acquiring items from NPCs, etc.) in order to prevent rollbacks.
