Everyone tells me that if you are Hoenn champion, you can get to Moon again by going to mossdeep space center. I go there and there is a security guard that says "This area is off-limits.". I am Hoenn Champion but I can't get to the moon where everyone tells me to.

 

Any help with this would be appreciated. I want to hunt for Gible, but looks like it won't happen for a while because of this issue.

 

One of my friends said it works for him in mossdeep. Another one of my friends said he is able to talk to rayquaza to get to moon from sky pillar. I'm sad now. I wonder if I'll ever get to return to moon?

Someone please help. I'm frustrated that I can't get back to the moon.

I found my problem. It turns out all i had to do was return to littleroot town and talk to prof. birch for him to say "oh i heard the space center's second floor opened up in mossdeep" and then the guard disappeared lol.
