I got logged off earlier and now when I try to login it claims User is already logged in? My friends say they can't see me online. Am I stuck in Limbo?

That's actually a pretty good way to look at it.

 

Unfortunately, nothing can be done for you at this moment. As soon as the server crashes and is rebooted, you'll be able to access your account again.
