Leev Town Infinite Trainer Battle - Exploitable Bug

Dear PRO staff,

 

I have recently encountered a bug within your game, on Blue server, in Hoenn; I found this bug via a server crash while I was in Jura Cave.

 

The bug is active in all the maps pertaining to the Leev area: Leev Town Port, Leev Town Entrance, Leev Town, Jura Pass, and Jura Cave.

 

What this bug does is allow players to battle any NPC within this area endlessly by relogging once they defeat the NPC. There is no limit to how many times a player could battle these trainers; relogging once will reset their cooldown instantly and they will act as if they never fought you.

 

I will leave a link to the site where five pieces of video evidence of this bug reside. I hope this will help you fix this game-breaking issue before too many people are able to exploit it. Note: All comments made in these videos as an attempt at humor are simply that. Also, I apologize for the audio in the videos; I had dark souls pvp videos in the background.

there are plentyyyyyy trainers which reset in less than an hour, maybe cause of server crash, relogging, etc etc. Sometimes i dont even need to relog and in less than an hour i have to fight a npc again.

Im gaining each time xp and money.

 

This happens esp. for swimmers/divers (so annyoing xd) and at vic road i noticed this issue too.

Its happening for me from rt 124 onwards.

Hi there,

At that time, the server was being worked on which caused rollbacks to some NPC cooldowns. Sorry for the inconvinience, they should work normally now.
