Hello,

 

I finished the Gym in Goldenrod and checked the places which were now open. So, the Ruins are still closed, guard everywhere standing before the entrances. I checked out the National Park but that's it. I can't go further. A Pokemon that looks like a tree (?) is in the way and I didn't find any other way that didn't bring me back to places I already have been.

 

Can you tell me what to do next? I really have no idea.

You need using squirtlebottle to make the pokemon tree awake. Squirtlebottle in flowershop at golden city by girl with yellow hair (not owner NPC shop)

Ruins only unlocked when you beat E4 Johto at Indigo only.
