i'm curious, If i'm not mistaken, elekid is from generation 2 but why until now i still cannot find it in wild as hoeen the third generation already out.

To be fair: Elekid wasn't catchable in the wild in Generations 2 or 3 either, though. In fact, it wasn't until Generation 4 that you could catch wild Elekids, so I wouldn't be surprised if we might have to wait till Sinnoh's released to farm Elekids in the wild. Although I wouldn't mind potentially having an NPC trade for Elekid, like the NPC trade in Celadon City for Magby.

Hi as the player previously said it was previously only obtainable in gen 2 as an egg, but you can get Elekid as a reward from boss Naero in cerulean cave.

Elekid is also obtainable from Lt. Surge at New Mauville, after successfully defeating him.
