As I said; in chat someone said admins had to shut down love island temporarily.

 

Does this affect every rare pokemon such as banette from hoenn sky pillar 1F?

Love Island is a map separate from Sky Pillar. Banette doesn't spawn at Love Island, so its spawn wouldn't be affected by Love Island being temporarily inaccessible. Visiting Sky Pillar is a necessary part of the Hoenn story plot, so I doubt Sky Pillar would be closed off like Love Island.

Love island is currently the only place getting a revamp from what I know of, so no, it does not effect anything else. Good luck.

Love Island is currently being revamped, but it won't change anything concerning Hoenn's gameplay.
