Hello, so i downloaded the game and tried running it on linux and I get a black screen.

I waited and it never starts...

Are your drivers up to date? Here's a guide on getting the PRO Linux client to work correctly; make sure you have all the requirements already, such as OpenGL.

ya I did all that...

 

In cmd it seems to get stuck on "Importing game controller configs"

 

also im running this on ubuntu 12.04

In the thread I linked, another user commented about having a similar problem. Try out the solution suggested in the post below it. If you're having further issues, you can always reply to that thread with a description of your problem - there are many Linux PRO users there who I'm sure would be willing to help you troubleshoot.
