I currently have a Grovyle level 61, Magneton level 52 , Bannete 43?? and I can't seem to beat the Fortree gym.. I can't even beat Pelliper(gym leader's 2nd pokemon).

 

Any recommendations please? A place to train ? Pokemons to use?

Try leveling your Pokemon a bit more. I beat the gym when all my Pokemon were around level 60 so maybe this will make it easier for you.

Try to farm and train more. I suggest you to beat all the trainers in the routes before Lilycove City.

It's not impossible at all. Please remember, this is an MMO which means the game is supposed to be difficult and is completely unlike the original games. All I can recommend is some more grinding to balance out your Pokemon's levels. Good luck!

Its easy to say grind. But remember that I have levels 50s and the wild pokes are lvls 20..

Grinding is part of an MMO, it's hard and time consuming and everyone has to do it. If you grind for another hour or two you should have most of your Pokemon at level 60, this should be good enough to beat the gym. Again, good luck!
