If you throw a pokeball during a battle, the pokemon will show up in your party before the catching

If you throw a pokeball at a low hp pokemon, the ball will shake but if you look at your party on the top left, it will show up in your party before you get the "pokemon was successfully caught" message. Not game breaking but a bug non the less.
