Hello everyone,

Me and some friends have been playing PRO for a couple weeks. I am enjoying very much but I am just worried about the overheating issues.

I have a Surface Pro 3 with 4GB i5-4300U CPU @ 1.90 GHz 2.5 GHz and 4 GB Ram using Windows 10 x64.

I guess this is not a particular problem of my computer as friends with different platforms such as MAC have also experienced overheating.

Is there anything I can do to minimize this situation?

I appreciate your attention.

Kind regards,

Jelvas

I've played PRO on both high end and low end PCs and I've never encountered the problem which leads me to believe it's the system you are playing on that is causing the overheat. Try opening a window or turning on a fan, turning down the brightness on your system will also help. Make sure you are not charging your system whilst playing too as this can cause the battery to heat up.

Well maybe I should not have used the word overheat.

My computer is not forcing to turn off because of heat and it has been playable. I would not mind the heat if I was just playing on my desk.

I am concerned because I am playing on a laptop and, particularly in the summer, it is not very confortable to play with such heat.

Besides, I do not understand the RAM consumption. If I try to use google chrome at the same time I am playing PRO it gets extremely slow.

Just wondering if I could do anything to put this as efficient as posible.

I take care of my computer. I have made a full clean / reset not a long while ago and I do not have anything consuming RAM when playing PRO such as useless background apps.

Thanks again for the help.
