This is a no no topic from start because mmo can't have meta pokemons, however

 

The hatchling doesn't need to have stats transferred:

-Egg has random stats too

-Parents 'lose interest' after making an egg

-Day Care Service can be a pd sink

-pokemon breeding has been fun for mating different species of same group

Breeding WILL NOT happen in any form.

As Giovanni mentioned, you should read the 'READ THIS BEFORE MAKE SUGGESTION!' post first. Not only that but breeding is listed as being non negotiable in the 'Things that are not to be introduced in PRO' thread.

Breeding would ruin, or at least have a huge impact, to the PRO economy as players could just breed for rare Pokemon and resell them for others to breed. Your suggestion also lacks reasoning behind it. I hope you can understand why breeding will not be implemented.
