hint to pvp rules in ranked pvp window

Hi everyone,

 

like you may (or may not) know, staff introduced some pvp rules couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, not everyone knows about this topic:

So it happens sometimes, that people break rules and are shocked when i tell them about them since they never heard about any rule in pvp. Could be because of various reasons, but the most frequent one is that they dont read anything in the forum.

 

So how about you give a short hint in this window about rules and where they can be found.

 

 

I know, i know, if anyone breaks rules in pvp i can report them. But why should we report and punnish people, when we could avoid any rule breaking?

i already suggested it. staff knows about it. we'll see what happens.

others suggested a banned move list once u are in the battle. Downside would be its not covering banned pokemons and/or abilities.

 

Nevertheless u need to report players in both cases if they break the rules. but both would solve the "i didnt know" excuse (some people use regularly)

I'd love to see this happen. It's hard to tell if the players just don't know the rules, or if the players are doing it intentionally.

My friend reported that it was you who abuse Drain Punch; He said that your Conkeldurr again from 1/3 to full health after knocking out his pkms w. little health w. drain punch..

Drain Punch alone haven't on the list, but if you know it was bugged. You shouldn't use it.

1. This isnt the right place to make any accusiations. I just wanted to suggest a useful feature.

 

2. The saeson just began and i have arund 10-11 matches. This is the first time Im using Conkeldurr in pvp. So, well aware of the rules I used a black belt in combination with drain punch. I wasnt aware of any possible bugs since there were no hints in forum (or the pvp rules threat). I only read today that there COULD be a possible bug with drain punch and this was after the match with your friend.

 

I only witnessed a bug with drain punch in only 1 (!!!) of the 11 matches I had. And that was really strange. My Guts Conkeldurr was burned and it didnt mattered how much damage it took the round, after the round was over and burn damage was calculated, the dealt damage was like Conkeldurr didnt got hurt this round.

 

So Im not even sure if there is a bug with Drain Punch or Guts. Obviously, Im not using Conkeldurr till this case is closed. But please, do me a favor and dont spread any rumors, that Im using knowingly bugged moves. Im not wasting 2k hours of play time with some minor bug abusing.

Just want to add something. there is a general rule about abusing bugs (do not abuse and report them asap). So if u experince a bug which is unknown its not a problem. But if u experience a bug and sill use the move/ability/item then u can get banned without breaking a pvp rule (u said u didnt, so it should be fine).

 

As an example belch tells u in der desciption "The user must eat a Berry to use this move.". if u can use it without eating a berry u know its bugged. If u still use it and dont report it u can get banned even if it wouldnt be part of pvp rules.

There is no "i didnt knew this move is bugged and therfore banned in pvp" excuse if u break a general rule!!!
