Total Stat questiong

Hey,

I've been told that i shouldnt evolve my charmeleon so i can train faster.

 

I got some questions about it.

 

isnt charizard much stronger?

is im getting now between 1~2 in total stat, when i be charizard dont i get more?

and about EV's it doesnt have any effect till i reach level 100?

 

please if someone can clarify those thing I'll be thankfull.

The reason for leaving it a charmeleon is simple - charmeleon levels up faster than charizard, because lower evolutions require less EXP to level up. However, at a certain point the added power of zard makes leveling faster, since it can kill things faster. It's completely up to you when you want to evolve - EVs will have an effect at any level, by the way

If you decline evolution by leveling, will you get evo chance again in PRO? Gotta confirm..

But what i mean is that if i evolve to charizard will the total stat be bigger or it doesnt matther if i evovle at level 50 or so?

It doesnt matter when you evolve, outcome is the same

A Pokemon's base stats on every level are given, so your Charizard's stats will be the same on lv100 regardless of the fact if you evolve it on lv99 or on lv30

so you mean if i train charmeleon and charzirad they both will gain the same stat every level?

Nope. That would mean that a lv100 Charmeleon is just as strong as a lv100 Charizard. What I mean is, regardless of what level you evolve your Charmeleon, its stats will be upgraded to the same as it would have been evolved to Charizard on a lower level and have been trained as a Charizard since then.

 

Example (note: I'm not using actual numbers):

You have two Charmeleons with the same base ATK. You evolve one to Charizard and keep the another as Charmeleon.

Let's say you level them evenly to lv99.

Now let's say your Charmeleon has 170 ATK and your Charizard has 195.

When your Charizard evolves to lv100 its ATK raises to 200. If your Charmeleon evolves to lv100 it will have 175 ATK. Butif it evolves to Charizard when it evolves, its ATK will be raised by the evolution to 200, exactly the same as your other Charizard.
