This is a customized quest made by our content team so its understandable for new players to have issues with it. Solution to this specific questline is to Talk with jacksons mother after talking with the schools secretary/clerk. After talking with jacksons Mother, go back to school and talk with jackson inside the battle ground, after completing the questline you will be able to leave viridian city.
