yo. first of all, I wanted to ask why are those removed from the game? fly, okay.. I'll get to that in a moment, but why exp share? since, now you have to swap pokemons if the one being leveled is really bad at training on its own. so yeah, first thing - exp share.

secondary, back to fly. I have some ideas why it's removed so I want to offer something else. instead of regular fly, players could have cooldown for it when used out of combat. like, if you get it instantly when you're able to, its' cooldown could be 20 mins or so. after defeating, I don't know, e4?.., its' cooldown could be halved etc etc.

any additional ideas so it wouldn't be super imbalanced?

Exp-share, I honestly have no Idea, but I'm assuming its game pace/difficulty related.

Exp. share is an item to make leveling easier. In an MMO leveling should not be easy, it should be difficult, otherwise you could finish everything in 2-3 days and you would come back demanding more content.

there's also an alternative to fly. just do the quest for the subway system (you can start it in saffron if i remember correctly) after you did this you can take the subway to every pokemon center in your current region for a small amount of pokedollars.

 

exp share won't be in the game because it's an mmo after all, leveling shouldn't be to easy

Fly will never be used for transportation between areas.

 

Exp share will most likely not be in game due to how much easier it would make the game.
