Is Venusaur your only pokemon? Tell us what your full team is, and try catching a magnemite with sturdy and paralyze mewtwo with it. It will make the battle so much easier.

You need a pokemon with a dark type move that can withstand a psychic attack from mewtwo. Everytime it dies, send out another pokemon, DON'T attack with the pokemon except revive the pokemon with the dark type move again. I beat giovanni with a lvl 60+ gyrados with crunch.

You should train your poliwrath. So far I know Mewtwo has two special attack moves, one fight type and one ice type. And itself is psychic type and steel type, which means fight type attack is effective to it. Do not send Venusaur, its too vulnerable in front of Mewtwo's ice type attack.
