I've been hunting for a Ponyta and Nidoran M on Route 22 and using my Mankey to steal items, but so far I have never gotten an item from the Mankey. I have been using this guide to find what items a Pokemon can hold, but Mankey isn't listed.

 

Can anyone tell me what item, if any, Mankey can spawn with?

Hi there, the item hold in pokemon often been updated (as your guide link not updated yet). Additionally, depend on the location, pokemon can hold different item. For example, Pikachu in viridian forest hold light ball while Pikachu in Power Plant only hold berry. Sadly, as the staff, I cannot say to you what item in this location (as players need to find out by themselves). Moreover, the item hold in pokemon is rare (around 5% chance), so you can come up with nothing after 1 hour. It is normal, don't worry.
