Hi!

 

For the past few days I've been catching each available different pokemon that's possible to find on each route/cave/...

After that i evolve each pokemon before moving to the next spot.

 

Am I wasting my time doing this? Should i do this after I finished the story or is it good to have all the possible pokemon in my pc for possible quests/NPC rewards?

 

I'm asking this because it does take alot of time leveling all them low levels.. Each time.. Over and over again.

I don't think you're wasting your time.

Collecting pokemons is fun, I always do that on my previous pokemon mmo game.

its really up to you about how you 'lives' on the game :3

you can always catch new pokemon, raise them, watch them evolve, and so on..

but, I'd suggest you to think about your main team as well. If you get bored of leveling, you can always battle with other player with your pokemon team - figure out your weakness - rearrange your team, etc. It'll be challenging that way.

Good question! Honestly, this all boils down to your personal preference. Most players seem to battle through the story as quickly as possible and then complete the Pokedex afterwards. By waiting until later, you'll have access to areas with higher-leveled Pokemon and all of the best EV-training areas to level up your Pokemon more efficiently. Certain quests are unlocked in PRO based on how many Pokemon you've caught and evolved. Feel free to play the game however you want to. :)

I do almost the same, there's no rush to beat the game. Do it your way at your own pace.
