I defeated blaine in the 8th gym JUST as the servers went offline for a restart. I was literally watching his last pokemons health bar disappear and the servers went down. when I logged back in I was stood next to blaine, I spoke to him and it said I had beat him. I have the volcano badge and I am now onto E4.

 

BUT, I cannot change my fossil into a pokemon, the scientist in the pokemon lab in cinnabar still says 'come see me when you have the volcano badge'

 

Can any mod please help me out? thanks
