Can you explain in more detail what's happening when you try to click on the password field? Does the username field itself disappear? If you can take one, a screenshot of your client would help (with your username/password credentials removed for the sake of discretion). Here's a guide on uploading images within forum posts. If you haven't already done so, try removing the client from your computer and reinstalling it again.
