Super Luck Murkrow/Honchkrow - Sucker Punch or Night Slash?

Hello,

Recently caught a Murkrow, has 31 attack IV, only 16 speed IV, careful nature.

I like the thought of #CritsAllTheTime with Night Slash, but, with a low speed, especially when it evolves, would it be better hold off on evolving for awhile to have Sucker Punch?

Sucker punch will always be the best dark STAB on Honchkrow but you can run both (since Pursuit isn't coded, Heat wave is useless with a careful nature and Honchkrow suffers from a shallow movepool so it doesn't have so much options other than Superpower). Brave bird, Sucker punch, Night slash and Roost will do the job.

Personally I'd say Sucker Punch is a staple move on Honchkrow regardless of the set. It's speed is pretty mediocre and due to it's typing it can be pretty frail, too. The only way you could get Night Slash to work effectively is if it held Choice Scarf yet seeing as that's not coded into the game yet that plan's out the window.

Ehhh i personally would run superpower for coverage instead of Roost/Night slash. Its good vs rock type switch ins like tyranitar. Sucker Punch and BB are must haves. Nigth slash fits well vs slower pokemons and roost can be a good recovery, if necesarry. But im not a fan of recovery on sweepers like him at all. Night slash just with super luck not with moxie ability.

I'll be moving this to the appropriate sub forum.
