Just a few suggestions

Checked around, couldn't see these anywhere, if its a repeat. Sorry...

 

This is mainly a problem for me on mobile, where entering largely populated areas completely destroys my game... as a suggestion why not implement a way to turn off other characters/animations, and leave you alone (How the game is currently, how everyone is invisible but yourself, but have this as an option in-game). This doesn't seem like it would be difficult to do either, since you've currently got it set for everybody, i wouldn't imagine this would take much effort?

 

Also, if possible, to just add a few more chat sections? Everyone seems to ask for price checks/ratings wherever they see fit, if you add an extra channel just for that, you would probably free up the other channels considerably. (EDIT: heard this was previously added and didn't work.)

 

EDIT: Also another suggestion, some sort of renting system for pokemon/items? not sure if this is being worked on with trading systems or not. though i think the majority of people don't rent due to fears of being scammed, i think if a renting system were in place, where you could rent out for X amount of hours, and the person pays Xk's each day/hour to keep the pokemon. Pros/Cons below:

 

Con's:

1. People would start to rush through the game without getting their own pokemon, and just renting a strong one to blitz through it. which is bad. However this would mean their own roster would be weak, and they would actually need a lot of coins to do this, it would also create a proper economic value for renting, at the moment people are happy to rent high-pokemon for cheap, since they keep it in the end, however if renting becomes more common, level 80's-100's that can clear all gyms and E4, would be priced much higher, hence eventually evening out any unevenness that renting causes (Going to get into this without adding real-life economics, because it'd be too long).

2. New players would be extremely vulnerable to this. for starters they don't always know routes they can take, if they rent a level 40 for 10k each day, then waste an entire day finding out where to go, this could turn them off the game entirely. however if we implement renting like we do trading (after 4th gym), then this should be less of a problem.

 

Pros:

1. renting already exists, and the issue with it is scamming. Yes a person can screenshot/record the entire thing, to make sure they dont get scammed. however this wastes the time of Mods that have better things to do, and wastes time for the player renting. also this scares away people from renting their pokemon, or even renting others (in fear of being fake-reported over a rent).

 

2. When you remove ways people may scam others (Proper trading systems, etc.) the community becomes a lot more open and scammers are less likely to have their way.. which is always a good thing.

 

p.s. bulk-renting things such as 6 macho braces? that would flip the economy on its head :P

 

 

 

tl;dr: Option for invisible people. other tabs in chat for price checks(Already been done apparently, and didnt work?), and a renting system (Not sure if its being worked on with trading systems)

First suggestion is needed. Expesially during events, like the clone on we just had, where people are in a few routes farming. There were many time on computer that I was walking to the item maniac above cerulean and just crashing whenever I was near massive crowd farm charmanders there. +1

 

The second suggestion would be great but the real problem is none of the newer players know the rules and purposes of the chats. Maybe have a system blurb whenever you enter a public chat room telling you what you can do/cant do in it.

would be very nice if the community could add the "hide players" option because its laggy (not all that bad really but still) and if the option was added would be also helpful because you can only see the npcs and not see the players all up and over rem, if just one person (that's me) makes a difference between the community putting up the option (or not) then so be it; ifandoorwhen the community decides to put up the option, i'm quitting the game till then.
