The only reason a new server will ever be open is if the 3 servers that are here are full constantly. End of story. Sorry if you want one, it aint worth it.

Well, you see, Shane, the dev, is afraid people will steal his code for the game and make a clone of it. Thats really the biggest issue why either of these things probably wont happen.

Doesnt mean that the "feature" isnt a little stupid. Its easy to work around but its stupid.

Heres a few things: 1. if you have looked through the forums, you would know that sinnoh isnt gonna be a thing for a while. You would see an anouncement thats it in development, for one thing, if it was. 2. Hoenn took like 6 month since the little teaser of lavaridge was shown, so we know once they announce it, it could take just as long. 3. You have the full right to stop playing for a few months if your getting sick of the endgame stuff. (its what i've been doing, except for the christmas event) Just stay active on the forums and your account willl be fine. hope this has answered you question Edit: ok, if its at 75% done with the mapping, 75% of just the mapping is still kinda far from it being done.

Ok, assuming i know what game you've migrated from (the one with roms needed, if not sorry), heres a few differences between this game and that game. The maps in this are custom made and are hosted from the server, not from roms, so a lot, and i mean a lot of space is taken up compared to the other. And the fact is this game was created with 50 man servers in mind, so the code reflects that. This means that even that few variables you have used in your code example could still overstrain the system. And unlike the other game, this is a pg game, with kids in mind (for some reason), so you would either have a auto profanity filter (which will overstrain the system) or have the admins go thorugh the probably massive amount of requests that would come from this suggestion getting implemented. Look, i get where your coming from, I would love to be able to nickname my pokemon, but if it was going to be in the game, it would have need to be coded in near the beginning of this game development.

Now, don't take this the wrong way, but I feel like all i see from your post most of the time is you talking about the negatives of something (for example, the skrelp incident). I do agree with a lot of your points, i just feel like you focus a little much on the negative and not a lot of the positive.

Staff said recording the battle is mandatory, unfortunately. Because they don't have enough personnel. In the other words, they cant monitoring all of the tournament thingy because of real life stuff, lack of staff, timezone, etc. About your concern how to do the video, i heard staff will make a guide for this. To be honest, I don't agree as well about this record thingy because there are potentially of our team being leaked (because we upload it on youtube), some of us dont have a good pc to record and Android with minimum specs cant participate as well. But once again, they already stated their concerns. Theres a setting in youtube to set a video to private and only let people who get a specific link can see it. I got a shiny murkrow on day 4 when hunting for jangmo-os. Funny thing is I got the shiny which is 1/4000ish in the main series and spent hours and didnt encounter even one jangmo-o, which is 1/20. Had to gts for it, got an adamant one, so I'm happy.

I think this was suggested already but denied under the grounds of "It isn't safe to ride a bike inside a cave." and "Ladders + Bikes doesn't make sense." You already move at 1.5x speed to the original games so I personally don't see this as being necessary. You know, those reasons sound like lazy excuses not to code them in to me. And what about the buildings between route, why cant we ride the bike thorugh them. Also 1.5x speed is not bike speed. Personally idc, but it just feels weird to limit bikes like this.

A second monitor with notepad open could fix this problem very easily, however not everybody (expecially android users) has a second monitor or can use a second monitor, so i can see where you coming from. The pinning aspect is a cool feature too. Might be a hassle to code into the game though.

Very true, but it's something to consider later on, to spice up gameplay if needed
