I'm not sure if Grimer and Muk hold nugget (I know for a fact they can hold Black sludge), but keep in mind that they have an ability called Sticky Hold which prevents you from stealing their items.

 

So, it's always better to get a Poke with frisk and if they hold something catch them instead of using Thief or Covet.

So, i have captured 10 sentret and furret, no one have the frisk abilities :(

Muk and Grimer not hold nugget. It only hold Black sludge. Additionally, no pokemon hold nugget too. You only can get it from boss lv120 reward and dig.
