Well, I'm not 100% certain on it as I've never tested it for myself. However, I have seen many staff members saying it so it's safe to assume that it's true :p

You also earn double money on wild pokemon. For instance, with ms, you can earn +500 pokedollars per battle inside cerulean cave, which is impossible without it.

 

But this concept is more blatant on trainers indeed. You actually get double the amount of money shown on screen.

after a fight with a poke you can see what you earn .. and with ms you should get the double of the shown money.. but i didnt get double money in cerulean cave.. is that only in that place?

You only get the double of the money shown against trainers, not wild pokemon.

 

On wild pokemon, the amount of money shown is already doubled.
