I've been looking in a lot of areas. Is it just me or is gible not attainable in Hoenn? I've asked people in game but not everyone in this game is exactly "friendly" or helpful.

Lol That feels like such a troll. I've never played Hoenn before. Can you actually get to the moon? If so when should I expect to catch one? Can I get it soon? I'm about to fight the flying gym.

Yeah you go to the moon for the main quest line in Hoenn

if you wish to know

You get to go by the 7/8th Gym I think, you have to beat Jackson. (he has Rayquaza) then you fly the Rayquaza to the Moon.

You will eventually get to the moon between the 7th and 8th badge during the storyline.
