They are SEVERELY under leveled. In order to train for that gym, within a reasonable amount of time, i would have to travel all the way back to Cianwood City and level near the entrance to the safari. I'm not asking for them to be level 50 or anything, but pokemon under lvl 20 on the routes next to the 7th gym, Lvl 75 pokemon, is just a tad bit outrageous. Lvl 33-35 would seem to fit about right in my opinion.

 

I do get this is an MMO, it's supposed to have some difficulty to it. This just seems a little TOO difficult for what is expected at this point in terms of gym levels.

 

You cannot reach this town without first obtaining the Mineral Badge. Which means people wouldn't be able to jump over to here to catch higher level pokemon or train without first completing that gym.

Training for Mahogony was horrible. A bump in levels near there would be helpful. Support fully.

I do agree with the fact that wild pokemon around Mahogany should get higher levels.

 

However, if safari is too far for you, you can also train your team at route 41 since wild Tentacool and Tentacruel are around level 30+

Hello , to be honest , keep in mind you can rebattle npcs for fast xperience... you can watch some anime and xp you won't feel the time , when the cooldown of npcs finished you can rebattle :Grin:
