Tr3y
279539 279530 I don't think this is an issue right now since the three implemented legendaries are outclassed by plenty of Pokemon, and Jirachi in particular needs a Choice Scarf to be effective. It'll be a much different story once Choice Scarves and Manaphy are added into the game though. This is an issue, its not about counter, outclassed or whatever you and other people mentioned. Its about the varieties and options in TEAM BUILD, decent / epic legendary = wider options in team build and not everyone have this option since they got very trash legendaries. Agreed. Perhaps a better system in terms of giving legendaries out should have been considered before even making them catchable. Or not have given them out at all because of all of this controversy. I agree with what some people said about RNG being the biggest factor of many aspects in the game but there is a limit to how much RNG should impact any game. When it comes to depriving many players of being able to use a good/epic legendary then this is in fact an issue. It's tough to get a bad legendary and watch others use epic ones day in and day out on the ladder. I myself have yet to get my legendary mons but it's easy to spot the problem here. I wouldn't necessarily say banning them is the solution though.

Kjwu
YEah i get why this is complained, not simply because of necessarily how op it is in battle. It's more of the *i feel like sh** feeling when someone shows off their mew but mine can't even be looked at and there is nothing i can do about it just because i had a bad day when catching it*. However, this does not make any reason for them to be banned from the competitive scene. Pro staff made it clear why legendaries are non-tradable as it will alter a lot of the game economy and etc, and i totally agree. However i do believe giving only one shot at something as important as catching a legendary is some what kind of harsh, as i know of people who literally quit the game because of the worst possible legendary you could imagine. This is because the legendary could be their fav pokemon and they wanted to collect a good one for personal collection etc, I feel everyone should be given maybe 2-3 chances to attempt it, but make having to catch a 2nd or 3rd time very challenging, such as really hard new quest line or requirements and demands that people have to try hard to achieve before they can try to catch again. this way at least people still feel hope, and if after 3 times your legendary is still terrible..well then i feel like it is the right time to just accept your fate and stop complaining lol. In terms of battle, yeah i agree with most comments that the legendaries available in game are not op as you can still manage around the PVP ladder without them, since i personally have the 3 worst possible legendaries you could imagine getting loll....so i cant use them but i still kind of manage in the pvp ladder without them, so don't complain in terms of unfairness in battle. Practice hard! lol My Shiny Collection
Shyntil
The 3 legendaries are way less influent in the metagame than other extremely hard to get pokèmons ( h.a drago and talon i'm looking at you) that indeed are tradables and have more attempts, but still are hardly seen in chat and unlikely for most players to get good ones due to the prices they rise up to the few times one gets posted. No reason at all to ban any of the legendaries as they are only op into unexperienced players' eyes. The skill of a player is inversely proportional to the number of confuse ray users he runs on his team.
