Basic Tradechat / Trading Etiquette

During the last few days Trade Chat experienced a stricter moderation, and as some people complained about not knowing the rules i will post some basic rules regarding trading / tradechat that have to be followed, otherwise you will get into trouble.

 

1. Scamming

 

Scamming / Deceiving other players when it comes to trading is prohibited and will result in punishment. Same goes for Fakebidding / Fakeselling.

 

2. Tradechat

 

Dont spam unnecessary amounts of Symbols (*-., etc) in your tradeshouts in order to get attention. Any other form of Spam is also not allowed and will result in Mutes. If this rule is broken multiple times a kick / ban will follow.

Posting the Same Tradeshouts multiple times within a few seconds is also considered as spam.

 

3. Commenting on other Peoples Pokemon

 

If you dont agree on other peoples prices etc. dont get rude and dont provoke fights.

 

4. Trades Outside of Pro

 

Pro Goods are only allowed to be traded for other Pro Goods. Real Money Trade or any other form of Trading for Goods outside the Game will result in a ban.

 

5. Fakebidding/Fakeselling

Once you made a bid on a pokemon, you got to stick to your offer until you get outbid. Backing out of the deal last second is considered as fakebidding. Same goes for agreements in cases when you are the seller. This rule is based on Rule #8 of the official PRO Rules:

8. Deceiving/Scamming people when it comes to trading or battling is prohibited.

 

6. Auctions

Auctions also means, that when a pokemon, once it has been put up for auction, must be sold at the end. Backing out in the end results in the same punishment as actions that are against Fakebidding / Fakeselling.

How about labelling someone as fake bidder + saying tht i know how much money the person has?
