I've been getting this heating issue with my laptop. I don't know the reason why. It only happens when playing pRO. I asked other players if they get this issue as well, some answered yes. Is there any fix for this? its kinda scary because it might break my laptop. Just got my fan cleaned but still it does the same thing and I also have a cooling pad so I thought this is something about the games driver messing up when pRO is on. The part where the heat is heavy is on the fan and you can hear it spins like in full power (but other heavy games don't do that) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

FPS limitation ? Might reduce the amount of work your CPU and/or GPU will have to do. Also, it could simply be that your thermal paste is getting too used Do you have a software like HWMonitor to display your components' heat? Actually that is what I did a week ago, and still doing it now... It's the same thing. No I haven't tried HWMonitor but ill surely download HWMonitor now. Pretty sure it's not the thermal paste... I just changed that like 2 months ago and besides. This only happens when playing pRO. Other demanding apps like Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, other heavy games... don't overheat my laptop. Neonlight Posted September 28, 2016 Share Posted September 28, 2016 I have had the same problem you mentioned, and i fixed it by placing a dedicated small desk fan and aimed it on the laptop. after time laptops get dusty / the internal fans dont work as efficiently. they have small computer desktop fans that also work well. It's not a huge deal, but I noticed when I play heavy resource MMOs like Aion and Blade and Soul, the laptop doesn't heat up as quickly as it does with this one. This is odd to me, considering this game seems a lot less resource heavy than those games. I have a dedicated gaming graphics card, good venting and cooling system and no troubles with my thermal paste. Just something about this game seems to quickly heat it up so I make sure to keep my cooling pad on at all times to prevent overheating. Here's some things that have helped: -Clear out all dust from the computer. -Keep the laptop elevated and air well circulated around it. -Take out the battery and run it using just the AC outlet. (Batteries generate more heat) -Go in the processes center (Task Manager for windows) and make sure that you shut down any unnecessary processes before starting PRO. Maybe its something about a client that is not installed. pRO just runs using an app. So maybe it bypasses some important systems thats why the computer is stressed out.
