There will be a lot of opinions on this guide since a lot of people have their own way of rating Pokemon (Also Smogon =/= meta)

However, in my opinion you've done a great job on this

Thanks nathan, there are LOTS of opinions. Thought this would be nice for a general idea on things.

I appreciate for this post. As someone who doesn't know much anything past gen 2, I often find it hard to rate pokemon. This `nature/ability stuff` was news to me when I started pokemon revolution. I think I am slowly grasping the concept. The hardest part for me is to determine which stats does a pokemon need in order to be better. Anything past gen 2 is foreign to me. It'd be awesome if you can extend this post and rate more pokemon, especially more from other gens. Again, thanks for taking your time to write this. I know this is very opinionated but it's good information regardless.

Also you have a small typo here,

286813 Its nature is prefered “Hustle” over Poison Point.

You probably meant Its nature ability is ...

No problem, and instead of adding more. I could add a certain "principle" to rating poke. VIA their ability, nature, IVs etc :)

This guide relies on subjectivity anyway. Thejollypear just gave you some tips that will help you rating Pokemon by yourself : what you should be aware of, what is really bad, etc.

Good job!

according to your logic pikachu should actually be a physical attacker, not a special attacker, since he has more attack than spatk. therefore that pika should be 0/10 ;)
