Reducing the grind for a pvp team

Meanwhile i was reading about the grind on PRO and a lot of complains about it, i was thinking on how it could be reduced but without taking away the first "grind"(Kanto,Johto,Hoenn). So i came up with some ideas that might help(and would need a lot of tweaking so it won't get abused if ever implemented)

 

New e4 after beating every region that'll unlock you a new way to train pokémon(or a new item?) which would let you choose which type of EV you want to train(Even if you fight a pidgey you can get spdef or the EV you want) You still gain 1 EV per fight but now you can fight EVERY pokemon and you'll get the stat that you want trained.

Beating this new e4(Which would be HARD, 4-5 bosses with lv 100 teams) will unlock you items that will reward you reducing the grind(These are not tradable) such as the one i described earlier, this can even unlock new zones(yay, new content, more motivation to keep playing and more objectives!) which would countain pokémon of X type and only of that type(Only dragon, only flying, etc) or an item that can "attract" a certain type(or pokémon) so you have more chances of catching it, this item would only have 5 uses and it would last 24 hours(So 1 week to farm), this would be a drop(or buyable) after beating the e4.

 

There are countless ideas i have, but the main idea is having a new objective after beating every region, a really hard objective which would incentive people to train more pokemon to 100 and then going into PVP because they'll not have to farm 100 hours just to get a good rare pokémon with H.A.

 

I don't really see how this could affect negatively the game or metagame since you have to grind more(and would keep more people with motivation to play) to grind less.

 

Please leave your suggestions/criticism so i can add or edit the post with new things.

 

TL;DR: New e4 after beating every region to unlock items/zones that will reduce the grind to get a pvp team(Or just having a lot of level 100 pokémon, even if they're bad)

Please keep commenting, the point of this post is to try and get a "solution" to the big grind that we have to do in order to get a functioning pvp team(gotta train ev's of 6 pokemon, which are a lot of combats, then level up every one of those 6 up to 100, and in order to get those 6 you have to farm a LOT of pokemon since most of them get bad IV's or nature(im talking about 01-09 IVS, not 20++)

Well, the involved grinding would be hunting the right pokemon (Iv's, abilities and nature), then there are the ev's.

The ev's are already easy to grind with the safari and many hot spots, then, if there is will to ease the grind, it should be in the hunting.

If anyone wonders about leveling up, forget it, it is already easy with cerulean cave and the levels you get doing the ev training.

 

The ways I can think to do it would be:

- Increase the effect on Synchronize for less nature fails

- More variety in pokeballs for those one that are hard to catch(Beldum, please, get in the pokeball already)

- Modifying the spawns in a way that pvp related pokemon aren't so hard to get

I used to whine about this subject myself, and actually quite a lot. However i've came to realise that you don't rly need 6x31 poke's to excell at pvp. Sure, your synergy must be exceptional within your team, but don't forget that grinding money is the easiest thing to do (the easiest as in a grinding for hours sense, it requires no rng at all). With the recent addition of Guild EXP Share and an active MS Medallion you can grind thousands per day and see if there's anything good you can buy on Tradechat.

One thing I'm surprised hasn't been mentioned yet in here, is having an event that increases the spawn rate of certain pokes for a short period of time.

 

It's not something new either, we already have such event before. During the Clone event, Kanto starters are slightly easier to encounter.

 

So we know it is in fact not impossible to code into the game.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Your EV suggestion though, might as well implement the Power items instead?
