Engineer
Question: I am running the PRO client on my laptop, which is my primary monitor. I have an HDMI cord attached from my laptop to my TV. When I click on my TV to change something on that screen, the client minimizes to the taskbar. Is there any setting I can do to keep the client on the screen? Or does this need to be a suggestion to make the PRO client dominant and not minimize upon clicking on a 2nd monitor? Thanks, Engineer Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/479-dual-monitor/ Share on other sites

Engineer
Okay thanks Shane! I wasn't sure if there was a setting I can do on my end that would prevent the minimization from happening, but that answers my question Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/479-dual-monitor/#findComment-10273 Share on other sites
Guest UnknownUser11
yeah although you are using dual screens, window prioritys in windows don't change for separate screens. they work as if its one still. Engineer
Hopefully this will change with Windows 10, to make the dual screens two separate desktops in a sense So I am guessing if you are testing something in PRO, it would be hard to code something on a second monitor if you are trying to look at the game running at the same time. Guest UnknownUser11
Nah my PRO is inside a program, im to poor for 2 monitors anyway :P so switching between code and game 100000 times an hour ftw xD Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/479-dual-monitor/#findComment-10276 Share on other sites
Engineer
You would think Windows would let you do this. I like to play PRO on my laptop screen and watch streamed baseball games on my TV (2nd monitor), and every half inning I have to skip commercials, so PRO always gets minimized from doing so. The only way for this to actually work is if u had a 'Dual HDMI out' GFX card, that can actually make 2 independant desktops. otherwise windows either puts it in 'Extended desktop' or 'Clone desktop' mode. It used to be possible with the old dual VGA cards at least Do not contact staff members for private support. Share the question on the forums due to being of use to others. Please use proper forum.
