EV Training is a pain, the least fun part of this game

292126 I think that you're forgetting that this is an MMO, it's supposed to be time consuming. Plus, EV training was the exact same in Nintendo's games.

Also, this is pay to win.

Overall, I very highly doubt that this will change.

I don't know about pay to win. Its certainly not a very good idea, but p2w? Really? Are you actually winning the game because you are able to gain an absolutely monstrous amount of EV's in any given battle? I mean Those EV's would be obtained anyways, the time is merely shortened. You can still purchase said pokemon if you don't have this crazy little item anyway. Same could be said for MS only pokes. If you can't afford to buy an MS in game or Buy one from the coin shop how is that NOT pay to win? Because you can still purchase said pokemon from other players.

At any rate. As Nathan said, the game is an MMO. It is SUPPOSED to be time consuming. That is the very nature of every MMO. If you are impatient or merely don't appreciate the success that comes with effectively training your pokemon, that is your right. However, I personally find EV training to be quite fun especially when I can train my favorite stats, like hp or atk, or speed. I"m also thankful for the macho brace, as this means I can now get a full 252/252 set of EVs done in less than 2 hours.

Gotta look at the cup half full sometimes bud

That's how every p2w starts. First they start reducing the grind you have to do by paying an amount of money, then another grind you have for another amount of money, then you have 2 things that'll benefit you(the one who's paying) over the guy who's not paying anything. That my friend, is p2w

Umm, not quite. You're not getting anything a non-paying player wouldn't get. You (the paying player) are just getting other players to do things for you with the help of paid content in the game, as well as gain time advantage only. TIME. That's far from p2w, that's pay to waste less time in the game. And let's face it, that'll always be the case with MMOs, especially in a game like PRO which runs by donations, to keep the game running or even profit in certain MMOs. This also means more players will be able to play the game, a full time working person will have the chance to use their money to progress in the game. There's nothing wrong here.

However, I do not agree with adding paid items which would make EV training take less time. We just need Power Items in the game, available to everyone. They could be boss rewards, a quest reward or whatever. But we need them because EV training with a Macho Brace is nowhere near as convenient as doing it with Power Items.

Been playing pro for a while, and I think this is pay2win and would break the game. See, the end game of pro doesn't offer much if you do not pvp. So ev training allows for some players to stay longer and artificially increasing a players "lifespan". If you know the training spots, it's pretty easy to ev train.

I don't see why a person who does not PvP would EV train. EV training does not help with their case imo.

I wasn't talking about daycare services, that's part of the game economy. I was talking about adding items that you would get via cash shop that would benefit you in-game.

I know, I just went a little off topic, didn't realize it at first. Sorry for that. But still, you're not getting anything a non-paying player would, except time advantage. This is expected in MMOs. That's my point in that post.

Though, as I said, I don't agree with the purchasable EV boost item suggestion. Power Items is what's needed.

Regarding vitamins : not everyone has the money to get them, especially now that, if I recall correctly, the easiest way to obtain them has been nerfed (they require artifact pieces to obtain from sites and has fixed amount that is lower than the amount of the pieces, when in the past we obtain them right away from sites and they're quite common)

Regarding Power items : we need themmmmm, and they must be obtainable outside coin shop

Time advantage is usually not considered as P2W, though.

That's why people keep saying you do not need MS to play in PRO, because the only difference is the time it takes to grind the same amount of money/exp. Nobody ever say MS is P2W.

Other online games also have exp boost item, and they are usually never considered as P2W.

But yes, as has been said, Power items would be better than a new coin shop item that massively reduce EV grind to the point where it the grind doesn't exist.
