Not sure if this would be the right place to post this, if this isn't the right place please say so below and I'll delete it and post it their.

I have taken part is some bidding in trade chat yellow server and had for a while now been trying to message some of the people who out bidden me or people who won the bid to see if I could buy it from them, but whenever I try to /pm them it always says their offline or disabled messages. I asked some people in help and all and they gave very generic answers like "Maybe their just offline or disabled messages." Their is no way though, I'v tried this at least 15 times and its never worked, and always said the same thing. I then tried it on people who said something in chat. It didn't say they where offline or disabled messaging, but no message box poped up. I'm asking here, because I'm not sure if the people who are trying to make the bids are just making up random names and saying they out bid me because they weren't happy with what they got or if my /pm is messed up or I'm not doing it correctly ? Or do I need them on my friends list ? I don't get it, which is why I'm asking here. Sorry if its something really simple and I'm just stupid.

that's the command, the /pm and -=- are mendatory, the names have the changed accordingly.
