What is the range of getting coins from summer bosses after defeating them? Is it possible to get just the mount but 0 coins? Is it so that if we defeat them in 2nd try we don't get coins or are there any other conditions for not being able to earn coins even after defeating summer bosses?

 

I defeated the boss near cave on my 1st try and boss near Vulcan entrance on my 2nd try. Got the mount but not a single coin.

I never completed them, but if I remember correctly you don't get any coins. You only get the mount.

Hello Bluelaser, you can check the guide for that event here, in which states that you need to beat both bosses in order to get the reward, which it is:

Reward for beating both bosses is Wailmer Mount and about 150 summer points.
