hello can someone help me what I have to do I am clicking the ProHaunter32.exe launcher and its saying the program has a virus and its Trojan I deinstalled the game and its same i scaned the folder like 3 times and its same.its just me or someone else have the same problem :Frown: :Question:

If you have downloaded the game from the official sources (i.e. from here), you have nothing to fear. If your Antivirus software states it's a virus, then either you have go a virus on your computer (hence your AV software needs to be replaced) or your AV software is wrong (hence you need to replace your antivirus software).

 

That is all.

Hello krattex, I am sorry about the inconvenience you have experienced. First of all confirm that the downloaded version of the client came from official sources (Forum download links, Frontpage Download links and trusted mirrors) and check if your Firewall and Antivirus isn't blocking PRO (if yes, disable them for the Client), and also try to open with the option "Run as Administrator".

If you tried what I said previously and didn't suceed try to do this next steps:

i cant do it cuz when I try to add it to firewall it says "Pro operation did not complete successfully because the file cointains a virus potentially unwanted software"

I can allow it from Windows Defender but im scared cuz its says its a Trojan and can damage your pc :///// answer pls do u want me to allow

If you dowloaded from the official sources i pointed out before and if your computer doesn't have a virus this won't be a problem, since, like Invixtus said, it would be a false positive.

I'm actually having the same exact issue, I was able to play just fine yesterday. Ran full scan and found a virus, removed it, reinstalled pro and now I've got a virus again.. -.-
