I already know Auction has been confirmed to become a thing someday in the future..

so while we wait, wouldn't it be kind of simple to make a drag & drop trading box in the trading menu for items?

An Auction house would be neat in all, but even a simple change like this would be enough..

I am not a developer, so I really don't know if this is really that simple.. but surely isn't has hard as an complete and working auction house would be.

If Im not mistaken, theres already a mail system that is planned which u could also used in sending items. but I guess its different from trading items for $/w.e. which i thought of based on your suggestion.

If you mean 'link' an item on chat the same way we do with a pokemon, there is no reason, simply because items are the same, unlike pokemon. If you mean to trade them alone, then as Frux said, there is a mail system planned for that.

The mailsystem is done, shane just needs to get his hands on it afaik
