Hummersaurus
It would be beneficial to have the in game time on the log-in screen. Not having to log in to check the time if waiting for a certain time of day would reduce stress on server. It may not be quick and easy to achieve what you want. It's possible it's only coded such that you must be authenticated in order to get the current poke-time. They would need to expose a public API (or one that's somehow auth-free) that shows you the time of the server. On that topic, there may be other useful bits of info that could be exposed there! But that would probably fall into the low priority category. -Current Date/Time -Server state (up, down) -Event state (Christmas, Vulcan Island, Halloween, etc) -PVP ladder positions even.
