Mamathieu Posted February 5, 2017 Share Posted February 5, 2017 Hi, i Evolved my scratterbug with coumpound eyes ability But when he evo he got shield dust ability in pokedex Compound eyes preevo and evo are on same line so i guess its not an 50/50, seem only vivillion in nature can get this nature. Hello Mamathieu, scatterbug into spewpa into vivillon scatterbug has 2 normal abilities and 1 hidden ( Shield Dust or Compound Eyes / Friend Guard ) spewpa has only 1 normal ability and 1 hidden ( Shed Skin / Friend Guard ) vivillon has 2 normal abilities again and 1 hiadden ( Shield Dust or Compound Eyes / Friend Guard ) your scatterbug may had the Compound Eyes ability but after you evolved it, it went into the shed skin ability, at this point it is pretty much random (50-50) if you get SD or CE. I might be totally wrong but it does look like it. Only when you catch Vivillon you can get shiel dust. Anyways I never see an poke who get an random ability when he evo, because If he can get shield dust he can get ha too (and its impossible).
