Looks like everything's fine. Once you talk to Jackson's mother, she will go to the school and after you meet them there, she will be back at her house. You can proceed north of Viridian City.

i have talk to her like 10 times about 30 mins walk to school and go to jackson's house again! Hope u find and fix it :)

if you beat jackson you can go north to Veridian Forrest without talking to his mother, if you Lose you need to go to his mother (hope this helps)
