Cerulean Cave is the premiere spot to raise pokes. And having to load a new route to zip around trees to then come back to the same area (since the cave is in the Cerulean City loaded area) is tiresome and wastes extra time.

 

Why not have an npc blocking a small path that allows players to surf to CC from the sidewalk rather than have to go all the way around? And he moves only when CC is unlocked? Or for those players who like something to sink money into, he'll only move if he takes a bribe of $50k (or whatever amount)?

 

This would be a small quality of life change, would require minimal effort/redesign (I would think) and in general be positive.

Quality of life! When something faints I dont want to use revives, those are for boss battles. When something is low level i'm going back and forth a lot.

You could just spend that on revives, then you've spent the same money without going back and forth

Save yourself the money and logout on a battle and free escape rope back to the pokecenter

You could spend that money on revives instead.

Nobody will pay 50k for some seconds .
