Sometimes there's too much chatter to see it, or I'll be playing with the window minimized, and I'll have no idea the server is shutting down soon. It'd be nice if important system messages were displayed above the chat window or someplace else. I agree. Staff members are able to send messages which require player acknowledgement. (A pop-up window) I'll bring this up with the other members of staff, and hopefully that system will be used to indicated the server shutting down in the future.
