I paid 100k for Fossil Maniac Charles, to start digging. When I go to collect the 6 required items using rock smash the items do not appear.

I've been at all the rock smash quest points in dropa the stone fragments.

I am sorry to hear about this inconvenience. Have you tried visiting all the spots on this Excavation Sites Rock Fragment Guide? Also, sometimes after smashing the rocks a fragment might not appear, so you just need to simply leave the map, go to another map, and come right back to the spot and the rock smash rocks should respawn so you can try again. Please try it out, and let me know if it works for you! :)

I didnt do the fragments thingy yet I was then able to enter sites after i paid 100k. (maybe just a bug or smth, but who knows, nothin will lose on trying)

Are you actioning the empty space ?

there's nothing visual to show it's there, just break the rock then press action at the space where it was
