Not receiving money for beating gym leaders

Featured Replies

I haven't lost to these gym leaders but I dont get any money for beating them, only money from normal npcs.

Last person I beat was Giovanni in Celadon.

Any help would be great

Helly Jporter, if you lose to a NPC once, the reward of that NPC battle will disappear on the first part, for example, you won't receive experience nor money from the battle. However if there is something the NPC must give or randomly gives (bosses for example) you will receive that part of the reward from the battle.

Can you tell me if you lost versus that NPC before the battle you won?
