Alright so this is my first time mapping with tiled, if you have any tips or tricks you can share with me that would be awesome. For this map I am basically going for an abandoned town theme, pokemon center and shop are closed, some of the abandoned houses would have grass inside with catch-able poke. There are various directions you can take with this layout + a cave. Hoping to showcase some of my work and apply for an open mapping position - I have 4 years experience using the radiant map editor and have released 5 maps on WaW custom zombies, one of which is the most downloaded custom zombies map of all time.

any ideas on what i should make next? :D

 

it looks pretty good but something less symmetrical maybe?

An acronym for "random number generator" or "random number generation", it refers to the process by which computers generate apparently random numbers, essentially the computer equivalent of 'chance'.

yea i can totally mix it up with the next one.

 

and try to avoid like things like the big road, looks kinda meh

was kinda thinking the road in the back would have npc trainers.

 

mt pyre 2.0? lul; it would be nice to make the road some sort of mix out of NPC battles, tutor, salesmen and so on

Im not an offical mapper of PRO but I am also specialized in this and can detect several errors
