Stuck in Hoenn After summer Event

Hello ive just got back to hoenn from the summer event and for some odd reason once back I seen that I had my old pokemon from kanto and johto but once to try to put into pc box it wont switch anything out I just started hoenn right before the event came out and only have 2 badges I did try to go back to event from slateport but it wont let me travel back untell I get my rain badge. btw it does say that everything in my boxes are locked from other regions but still cant switch from the one I caught in hoenn. please help thanks savuta

I would say you should consider finishing the 8 hoenn badges with the kanto / johto pokemons you got back.

Since you are doing Hoenn adventure It's probably normal you can't move your old regions pokemons from party to boxes.

There was probably a bug on the event island where you could take your old region pokemons while not having finished hoenn that was corrected after, which would explain why you could move them before and not anymore.

Its normal if u are doing Johto story u can't use your pokemon from kanto and if u are doing hoenn story u can't use your pokemon from kanto and johto region (Vulcan is part of kanto i think)

 

I think its not a big problem because u Just need finish your hoenn adventure ;)

That feature was implemented so people would not abuse the event to have easy rides when starting a new region. You will be able to get all your pokemons back once you have beaten Hoenn Elite 4. You can use Hoenn Guide to help you in the meanwhile.
